There isn’t much to like about Zeitgeist (aka Jupiter Strike on the PlayStation). It might be 3D and poly-based, which isn’t something you normally see as far as arcade shoot ’em ups, but there’s little else elevating Zeitgeist beyond its texture-mapped graphics. The controls are bad, the enemies are boring and blocky, the shooting action uninspiring. The game features only two weapons and zero power-ups, all played to some of the worst sound and music with choppy FMV to boot. Pass on this one – there are countless other 3D shooting alternatives out there.
